Terms of use

Paws & Papers helps you work out which documents your pet needs for a trip and by what date. It is a reference service, not advice from a vet or a lawyer.

1. What the service is

A free information planner. It is not a government service, does not act for veterinary, border or airline authorities and does not issue documents.

2. Accuracy

We take the rules from official sources and show the source of every step and the date of the last check. Rules change, and we cannot guarantee the information is complete and current at every moment. A plan does not guarantee entry. Your vet, the airline and the border authority have the final word. Check the official sources before you travel.

3. Liability

You make your own travel decisions. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for refused entry, quarantine, costs or other consequences of decisions based on the site. Nothing here limits consumer rights that the law does not allow to be limited.

4. Paid services

There is no payment on the site now. The Plus pack is in preparation: before sales start we will publish its terms, price and refund rules.

5. Error reports

If you find an error in the rules, write through the support form. We will check it against the official source.

6. Content rights

The site texts, design and logo belong to the owner. Photographs are used under the Unsplash and Pexels licenses, fonts under the SIL Open Font License.

7. Links to other sites

We link to official sources and other sites but are not responsible for their content or availability.

8. Changes

A new version is published on this page with its effective date.
